We're almost ready to ship! I've added shipping fees to BackerKit surveys based on location and weight, and we're ready to start charging for them. Please visit your survey and confirm that you have a payment method added to your account, otherwise please add one. We will be processing charges in 48 hours. If you want your package to go out in the first wave, please make sure to have your survey updated with payment info.

Due to considerable service interruptions around the globe, it's a difficult time to be shipping packages internationally. The prices are considerably higher when compared to just a couple of years ago. In most cases, we decided to go with the least expensive option available. A note on fees–

• US - We will be shipping everything domestically with UPS. It was only slightly more expensive to use them as a carrier, but the reliability and speed is worth it.
• Canada - Orders will be shipped using USPS First-Class International, the most economical shipping method available.
• Australia - There's currently a sweeping ban on USPS shipments to Australia, so we have to use an aggregate fulfillment service. Expect at least a month or more for delivery.
• Rest of the World - We're using USPS First-Class International as it's the most economical at this time.

Addresses locking on Friday, February 11th

This is just a reminder that addresses are locking on this Friday, February 11th. Please make sure your address is up to date on your BackerKit survey so that we can begin creating segments to pull real-time shipping rates. You will not be getting charged for shipping at this time. I will post another update when the rates have been added to your BackerKit survey so that you can add payment information and approve the charges. Progress update, addresses locking soon

We're making excellent progress on production, and everything is going smoothly. Up to this point, we've made 12,000 paints & washes and are still on schedule to wrap up manufacturing in February.

I'd also like to take this time to ask that you make sure your address is up to date on your BackerKit survey. I'll be locking addresses on February 11th so that we can begin collecting shipping fees. If you lost the email, you can access your survey here. I'll make a separate update on the 7th as a reminder. Production is in full swing!

Hello,  I hope you had an excellent year end holiday. I'm back with a quick update to inform you that our paint production is in full swing. We've sorted the issues with our labeling machine, and things are progressing nicely. We knocked out six colors this week, totaling over 4,000 paints mixed, bottled, and labeled. We're going to continue at this pace and expect everything to be finished mid February. I'll be back with more photos of our progress in a couple of weeks.

Bottling paint with full production scheduled

Hello! I'm finally here with our first production update, and to share some excellent news. Production for our entire range of paints and washes has been scheduled! Beginning this week, we'll be mixing and bottling every week until all of the paints and washes are made, with an estimated completion date of mid to late February.  We're having some troubles with our labeling machine at the moment, however we're actively working with the manufacture to get things sorted. For now I'll leave you with some photos of the paints that we've completed. Happy holidays!
